New York University’s College of Dentistry
The New York University College of Dentistry is the largest dental school in the United States. Each year, the university provides training to more than 1,800 students from over 50 countries. The College of Dentistry’s student body includes pre-doctoral and postdoctoral students of dentistry, along with aspiring dental hygienists. The school also offers Masters programs in biology/oral biology, clinical research, and biomaterials, along with an Implant Dentistry Fellowship and an Advanced Placement DDS program. The pre-doctoral DDS curriculum involves a cross-disciplinary, integrated education that provides students with experience diagnosing, preventing, and managing dental diseases.
Dr. Guerrino graduated from New York University Dental School with his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS). He then moved to Boston to study periodontics at Boston University.
Boston University’s Department of Periodontology
Situated in the heart of Massachusetts, Boston University’s postgraduate Periodontics Program focuses on the teeth, their structure, and the diseases affecting them. The program aims to provide residents with an understanding of the basic sciences involved in the maintenance of health and/or the treatment of diseases. Students also gain hands-on experience by working as periodontology residents.
Once Paul J. Guerrino DDS PC completed his periodontal studies, he returned to New York University to study implant dentistry.
Dr. Arthur Ashman Department of Implant Dentistry
